I can recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Thai (especially Sahara) cuisine. There is no big difference between Thai and Lao food. Here, however, special lao food specialties can be ordered. On special request, you can also prepare dishes not on the menu. Large restaurant, up to 40 people on the ground floor. Whether it is suitable for organizing events. Later, the gallery can accommodate 20-30 people.
Tudom ajánlani mindenkinek ezt az éttermet, aki a thai (különösen az iszáni) konyhát szereti. A thai és a laoszi ételek között nagy különbség nincs. Itt azonban speciális laoszi ételkülönlegességeket is lehet rendelni. Külön kérésre, az étlapon nem szereplő ételeket is elkészítik. Nagy az étterem, a földszinten akár 40 ember is elfér. Akár rendezvények szervezésére is alkalmas. Később, a galérián is elfér 20-30 ember. Két nagyon jó laoszi szakács főz, akik régóta dolgoznak szakácsként Magyarországon. Ismerik, és tudják főzni az autentikus thai és laoszi ételeket
We know Thai food, from spending time in Thailand as well as having Thai friends in the states (one of which has their own restaurant)... also, we are long time restaurant owner/operators (not Thai). We live in Fehérvár and have no options for anything remotely Asian or Indian so we choose our places very carefully. We have been to a few other Thai or Vietnamese places, but nothing in Hungary has come close to what we experienced at Kao Niaw. Clean place, friendly staff, reasonable prices and oh my god... the flavor. It's not only the real deal, it's markedly better than just about any Thai food we've l anywhere. Few places deserve the accolades they get, but we truly are happy these guys exist and we are no longer looking for "our place" for Thai. This.is.it. (note, we were afraid the green curry would be crazy Thai hot so we asked for it a little lighter.. we should have just let them do their thing)
